Most people are familiar with the term roaming from the mobile phone industry. Roaming refers to using a other netwrok than that of your own mobile provider. For example, if you have Swisscom as your mobile provider and make calls on a different network, you will incur roaming costs.

Roaming works in a similar way in the electromobility industry.

If you are a customer of an e-mobility provider such as Swisscharge and charge your e-car at a charging station of another e-mobility provider (e.g. MOVE or evpass), you may incur higher rates than if you charge in the charging network of  swisscharge .

In our app, roaming stations can be filtered out, allowing you to clearly see whether you're charging within the Swisscharge network or not.
